CHOREOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Inaside Chicago Dance seeks Choreographers to showcase the spectrum of Jazz dance Choreography from more Classical and traditional forms to Contemporary iterations of Jazz Dance. Each work should be between 5-7 minutes and the music should not contain any offensive language.  Submissions due March 1, 2023. If chosen, Choreographer and dancers must be available to perform either March 24th or 25th. Tech time and show time will be scheduled on the same day. 

 

There is a $25 application fee.  You may submit more than one Dance.  The winning work will receive $800, the chance to perform their winning piece in Inaside's Spring performance and the opportunity to set the winning work or a new work on the Company.

Inaside will also host a Dance for Camera night on Sunday, March 26th.  Artists out of State and or interested in showcasing their work virtually, should submit a piece 5-7 minutes in length.  The presentation will take place online at 2 pm central.
